Situated on 1200 acres of private land we have 2 fully self contained cabins with deck & bbq. Both cabins have lagoon/ wetland views which are abundant with bird life. Yatco holiday cabins is a family operated business that offers friendly service and vast local knowledge. Another great tourist attraction with animal enclosures, wine tasting and restaurant facilities. The riverland is one of sa largest wine growing regions and yatco holiday cabins is only a short drive from one of our local success stories, banrock station. The riverland region of sa is home to many tourist attractions and events all of which are a stones throw from yatco holiday cabins. Berri, also local is home to the big orange. Central to all major towns in the riverland region of sa it is only a 20 minute drive to loxton or bamera both with their own sites to see. The historical village proves a big attraction as does the christmas lights up festival in loxton whilst bamera is best known for its involvement in the annual country music festival. During the year the river and lagoon also offer up a bounty of yabbies ( fresh water crayfish), easy to catch, cook and even easier to eat. For the holiday maker who just wants to take a gentle stroll our property has several tracks to follow or you can go 'off the beaten track' and see what you can find. For those who enjoy fishing the lagoon provides an excellent opportunity to catch some of the largest european carp in the region whilst the river offers the opportunity to catch brim, perch,red fin trout and much more. The cabins are surrounded by natural scubland providing a home for many australian native animals such as kangaroos and echidnas as well as lesser known species of bush mice. Bird watchers will spot rare and endangered birds such as the peregrine falcon and a variety of owls and water fowl.
